Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always wanted games to be more

For me, games represented personal freedom, escapism, and allowed me to expand my worldview far beyond the Midwest farm where I grew up. While playing games at the arcade with my friends every Saturday night, I continually asked myself; is this fun, and why? Then spent the remaining days of the week rethinking the game's potential design, in what I now know as the concepts of immersion and inclusivity, to make them better experiences.

I got my start in educational games with my first title as Game Designer, with “Whose Toes Are Those” from Eggroll Games - a giggle-inducing mobile matching game with 367,460 downloads to date.

My work as a VR Game Designer, Interaction Designer, and Producer began with the production of CyberThreat, a sandbox first-person shooter, released on Steam for HTC Vive and the Oculus in Q2 2016. These two headsets finally gave me access to technology that let me make games more - blending story and action in ways I have always wanted but never experienced. My team introduced numerous innovations, including the first in-game Selfie Cam, one of the first VR JetPacks with 360-degree motion, flying and climbing mechanics that eliminated VR motion sickness, and also in-game retail. I’m currently working on Sherlock, a mashup of a first-person brawler, and choose your adventure game for the Oculus Quest.

I love to approach game production and design with a “no creative limits” approach - to create completely immersive experiences that blend Story and Action - taking players to an entirely new world and state of being. I’m looking for studios that share that same passion.
